HotSpit Rock & Laugh Through The Latest Episode Of River City Sounds

Since launching last fall, the folks over at River City Sounds have been hard at work documenting bands and artists from the local scenes in podcast form, and in their latest episode, the DIY enthusiasts fixed their sights solely on the emerging and buzzing band HotSpit.

Fresh off their recent three-song demo from last month, the intriguing quartet stopped by River City Sounds HQ to perform a bevy of tracks and take part in a friendly and smirky conversation. Chatting with host Chloe Pallak, the band discussed several topics including musical influences, recording their recent demo, favorite record stores, and even a brief but fun Richmond-version of “would you rather.” Through a loose structure and stripped recordings, both the performances and conversation come across compelling and captivating, much like the house show charm River City Sounds looks to celebrate in each episode.
