Finess’em Rio Goes Full Energy, No Breaks On “All Night”

 In News

In an era where everyone’s trying to stretch the hours in a day, burning through the night feels like a constant ambition. But even that drive has its limit… at least for most. Not Finess’em Rio. This Richmond MC treats those limits not as a setback, but as fuel. On his latest single, “All Night,” he leans into the challenge, embracing the grind, with swagger, showcased by a sleek music video released as part of the Booth The Streets series.

Goddamn, it feels nice,” Rio proclaims at the close of the song’s rolling hook, a triumphant burst from someone who’s powered through the grind and lived to flex about it. “Staying consistent with the hustle,” he adds later, echoing the song’s hypnotic, looping beat that feels like a clarion call from deep within, urging you to keep pushing until the routine pays off. Shot by Hundo Made It, the video finds Rio lit by the amber glow of streetlights, performing with the kind of boundless energy it takes to conquer both night and day. That momentum is contagious; you can almost feel yourself reaching for a late-afternoon caffeine fix, ready to squeeze a little more out of the day.

“All Night” is the first single from Finess’em Rio since the YouTube drop “Add It Up” in 2022. The rapper–also known as EGM Rio and Rio Rodriguez–has maintained a sporadic catalog over the years, including the 2020 streaming release “Cut Like That,” a team-up with Finess’em count’em up & lul kamo, and the 2019 Soundcloud EP Hurricane Season. With “All Night” and its accompanying video, the bouncy hip-hop artist resurfaces with fresh energy, and hopefully that means there’s more to come. In the meantime, “All Night” delivers enough vibes to hold fans over.
