SBC TR3 Finds Growth In Grit On “Pain & Hustle”

What draws us to grind? To push endlessly toward something that feels so certain within us, yet so unclear to everyone else? Is it how we make peace with our missteps, or how we keep them from catching up in the first place? Heavy questions, no doubt, with no clear answers, but ones Richmond artist SBC TR3 nonetheless confronts head-on in his new song and video, “Pain & Hustle.”

A restless grind pulses through the track, driven by the mantra “I took that pain and turned into a hustle,” as SBC TR3 balances hunger with discipline, grounding himself in “I just been patient, remaining humble.” Shot by Cam Culture Media and OnlyMoneyMoves as part of their “A Dolla & A Mic” series, the video mirrors that energy with glimpses of real Richmond: vibrant and in motion, yet cracked and faded at the edges. There’s a quiet defiance in the way he moves as well, staking his claim with “I say I’m different cause I’m like no other” and turning perseverance into identity as much as ambition.

“Pain & Hustle” marks SBC TR3’s first new release since “Wealthy” dropped in July 2025, closing out a three-single run for the year that followed his 2024 EP Attainment. Since bursting onto the scene with 2021’s “Myself,” the Richmond MC has been consistently filling his catalog, though it has been four years now since his last full-length, Bangaaa Activity, his second album overall. With an EP and another stretch of singles behind him, 2026 feels primed to push his catalog into its next phase.
