Spacebomb House Band Unveil New Serpentine Single, “Pinky”

 In News

The illustrious and versatile Spacebomb House Band has released the first glimpse off their next, 20 song album Library Music III: For The Sun And Waters due out October 19th. “Pinky” is a twisting arrangement featuring an idiosyncratic saxophone dancing on top of a shuffling rhythm and swirling instrumentation. As has been the case with the past Library music releases, this song previews the band’s deep musical exploration that’s connected strongly by a thread of robust musicianship.

“The Library Music series allows the house band to search for varying musical identities, craft focused ideas in sound and let our individual and collective identities intermix,” explains executive producer Pinson Chanselle. “There’s a playful and engaging range of music in this third release, aspects of beautifully minimal impressionism, ultra tough funk, and entire plots concentrated into a single dreamy scene.”

Library Music III: For The Sun And Waters follows the first two library releases from this year, No Space High Enough in March and Temple Of Engine Room in June. In addition to the talented musicians that make up the band, For The Sun And Waters will also feature musicians from around the community, including singer Angelica Garcia and saxophonist JC Kuhl.

Pre-orders for Library Music III are available now through Spacebomb’s website and Bandcamp. In the meantime, give “Pinky” a listen below.
