Andy Jenkins Releases Chronochrome Video For “Illuminated”

 In News

Idiosyncratic performer Andy Jenkins has released a new vestigial music video for “Illuminated” on the eve of his forthcoming October tour.

Directed by acclaimed photographer Shawn Brackbill, the video debuted on Harper’s Bazaar on Monday along with an accompanying feature. Speaking with staff writer Erica Gonzales, Jenkins described the song as being about “somebody coming back into your life that you maybe would rather not, but you still don’t mind.”

The song is featured on Jenkins’ sublime debut record, Sweet Bunch, an exalted ode to direct songwriting and majestic melody that was released this past June on Spacebomb records.

Andy Jenkins hits the road soon for an October tour supporting Phil Cook (who contributed to Jenkins’ debut record) and Molly Burch that will send him through 13 cities, including Richmond on the 26th for a performance at Capital Ale House’s Music Hall.
